Job Responsibilities
- Be involved in the planning of promotions, beverage purchases and pricing under the supervision of the bar’s Venue General Manager and constantly be aware of the beverage cost of sale.
- Provide consumption data for purchasing purposes and ensure correct control of beverage to avoid wastage and spoilage.
- Be fully aware at all times of competition activities, theme nights and pricing.
- Manage the daily operation of the bar under the set standards and as per the local regulations
- Carry out an internal inductions and training courses, in liaison with the Venue General Manager when a new member of the bar and service staff arrives.
- Recommend hiring and/or employee promotions to the Venue General Manager, and assist in looking after the manning of the bar.
- Define training needs and propose training programs in co-relation with Venue General Manager and continuously train the team to achieve highest professionalism.
- Prepare schedules for all bar personnel according to the forecast and within the limits of the staffing guide, to ensure adequate manpower at all times and under the guidance of the Venue General Manager.
