Planning and Merchandising Manager Jobs in Dubai
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the brand delivers business plan profit through delivery of both volume and cash margin, maintaining brand profitability by management of full price and mark down sales, intake margins, level of markdown activity and terminal stock.
- Implement Sales, Open To Buy (OTB) and Markdown plans and monitor performance through seasons.
- Develop and drive all mark down activity in liaison with Buying Managers and Brand Directors based on merchandise plans, open-tobuy revisions, promotional calendar, merchandise cycle, and historical markdown rates and sell-thru, to maintain gross margin.
- Ensure effective management of deliveries, replenishment, allocations, inter store transfers and inventory ageing to minimize obsolescence.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate degree in any Business / Finance related subject • Qualification in Retail related field is an added advantage.
- 5+ years as Senior Planner across multiple brands and categories.
- 2+ years regional experience of working in a multicultural environment and handling planning of multiple countries across the GCC.
