Job Responsibilities:
- Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
- Identify potential agency partners and vendors
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
- Create sponsorships packages and meet targets
- Coordinate all operations
- Lead promotional activities for the event
- Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers, etc.)
- Approve all aspects before the day of the event
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Media, Marketing, Hospitality, etc.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience with proven experience as an event manager
- Experience in an agency, event management, or a similar industry
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
- Skilled in project management, Computer savvy with proficiency in MS Office
- Exceptional organizational skills and great attention to detail
- Proven track record of working collaboratively and being accountable
- Traits: Self-starter, with strong leadership abilities
- Ability to tell meaningful stories
